Moritz Baumann currently serves as a volunteer student assistant coach for the Badgers. The Inzlingen, Germany native spent four years on the Wisconsin men's tennis team from 2006-10.

During his career with the Badgers, Baumann helped bring the men's tennis team back on top of the NCAA. Baumann is UW's only four-time All-Big Ten selection and was the second UW player ever named to the All-Big Ten team as a freshman. He played in the No. 1 singles slot for Wisconsin since his final six matches as a freshman. As a senior, Baumann was ranked as high as No. 6 for a career-best ranking. Baumann's 95-38 career record ranks him fourth on UW's career singles win list with a .741 winning percentage.
