The University of Wisconsin mens swimming and diving team grabbed a few more B times Saturday night at the University Aquatic Center on the final day of competition at the Big Ten Championships.
Leading the Badgers was Adam Mania (Hickman, Neb.), placing fifth in the 200-yard backstroke (1:44.28) earning an NCAA "B" time.
The 400-yard freestyle relay squad consisting of Mania, Tim Liebhold (Chapel Hill, N.C.), Tom Molzahn (Barrington, Ill.) and Eric Wiesner (Montrose, Colo.) finished in an NCAA B time of 2:55.99.
Wiesner also took seventh in the 100-yard freestyle in an NCAA "B" time of 44.55. Also helping the Badgers on the last day was Michael Swanson taking 15th in the mile with a time of 15:44.18.
In diving Ben Raznick took 24th in the semifinals on the platform board with a score of 331.25, but did not advance to the finals.
UW finished the championships in seventh place with 259 points. The University of Minnesota won the championships for the second year in a row with a score of 720.
The men will be on a short break until the NCAA Championships, March 24-26 at the University Aquatic Center, the same place the Big Ten championships was held.
