The Badgers have adjusted their sportid=122"> --> schedule by moving their game at Marquette to Wednesday, Oct. 15. The game, originally scheduled for Sept. 24, will begin at 7:05 p.m. at Valley Fields in Milwaukee. In turn, the Badgers also have moved their home match against UW-Green Bay that was originally scheduled for Oct. 15. The UW will now welcome the Phoenix to the McClimon Complex at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 20.
With Sundays 1-0 loss to Michigan State, the Badgers were shut out in back-to-back games for the first time since being handed consecutive 3-0 losses by the Spartans (Sept. 30) and Northwestern (Oct. 6) in 2007.
Junior athid=5596&deptid=122"> --> Scott Lorenz led the way for the Badgers with six shots against Michigan State and boosted his team-leading shots total to 34 for the season. Of his chances against the Spartans, four were shots on goal. He leads the UW in that category, as well, and has tallied 19 on the season.
Sundays contest marked the sixth time in 10 games this season that the Badgers out-shot an opponent. They own a 2-2-2 record when holding an advantage in total shots.
Senior forward athid=5211&deptid=122"> --> Victor Diaz was scratched from the starting lineup of Sundays contest, marking just the fourth game Diaz has missed in his career. He has played in 61 of the Badgers 65 contests since the start of the 2005 season and last missed a game when he was inactive in a scoreless draw with Michigan State on Sept. 24, 2006 a run of 37 consecutive appearances.
Senior defender athid=5600&deptid=122"> --> Andy Miller , who entered the season with just six shots in 55 career games, had two shots against Michigan State on Sunday to push his total to four in only nine games this season.

For the second time in eight days, the Badgers saw a late penalty kick wash away their chances at a Big Ten win, as Michigan States Doug DeMartin found the back of the net on a PK with just six minutes left to give the Spartans a 1-0 win Sunday in East Lansing.

The Leathernecks scored on a 30-yard kick by Cosimo Patano in the 49th minute and then held on for the 1-0 win despite two shots on goal from the Badgers, as well as a pair of second-half chances that deflected off the goal itself.
Much like the Badgers, the Panthers are mired in a four-game winless streak after dropping a Horizon League contest to Cleveland State on Sunday. In a fashion very familiar to the Badgers, UWM gave up a penalty-kick goal in the 80th minute that forced overtime, allowing Cleveland State to score the win. The Panthers are 0-2-2 since scoring a 2-1 win over Southern Illinois-Edwardsville on Sept. 20.
Eric Frazier leads the Panthers with 12 points on the season, notching four assists to go along with a team-high four goals. Evan Bartzis has three goals, while Peter Sanger and Ross Van Osdol each have scored twice.
As a team, the Panthers average 1.18 goals per game and have outscored their opponents, 15-13. They are averaging 14 shots per contest.
ABOUT THE UWM SERIES
The teams have battled to a draw in each of their last two meetings, including a 1-1 double-overtime tie last season in Milwaukee.
The Badgers last win in the series came in 2004, when the UW scored a 2-1 win at the McClimon Complex. The Badgers are 7-4-1 all-time against the Panthers in home games, including a 4-4-1 mark at the McClimon Complex.
Wisconsin head coach Jeff Rohrman, a UW-Milwaukee alumnus, is 2-2-2 against the Panthers, while UWM coach Jon Coleman owns a 0-0-2 mark against the Badgers.
