• Highlights vs. DePaul
MADISON, Wis. -- Wisconsin senior Tomislav Zadro earned the Big Ten’s Co-Offensive Player of the Week award, the conference announced on Monday.
Zadro did most of the heavy lifting in UW’s 2-0-0 weekend, tallying a pair of goals and a pair of assists in two matches. After tallying his first score of the season just two minutes into Wisconsin’s home opener against Western Michigan on Friday, the Toronto, Ontario, native recorded the equalizer on Sunday against DePaul with a second left in regulation and earned the assist on the game-winning goal during the overtime period.
Zadro ranks first in the Big Ten in points per game (2.00) and is second in the conference in goals (2). His six points are tied for the Big Ten lead with Michigan’s TJ VanSlooten.
Following his clutch performance against DePaul, Zadro was also named to College Soccer News' Team of the Week.
The Badgers (2-0-1) are undefeated heading into the fourth match of the season for the first time since 2008.
