Delgado was everywhere for the Badgers offensively, notching a goal and an assist while leading the UW attack with six total shots for the weekend. Waspi also was impressive, tallying a single shot attempt, but he also was one of just three Badgers to never leave the field over the course of two games played in 90-degree heat.
The Badgers finished as tournament runners-up on the basis of goal differential, with the host Flyers taking the title. Both teams went 2-0 over the weekend, altough Dayton outscored its opponents by a margin of 4-1. UW's goal differential was 4-2 in its wins over Wright State and Denver.
The Badgers return to action Friday, as they open their home schedule by hosting No. 5 Santa Clara on the first day of the Middleton Sports & Fitness Invitational at the McClimon Soccer Complex.
