The Wisconsin mens soccer team will close out its preseason with an exhibition match at 1 p.m. Friday against UW-Oshkosh at Camp Randall Stadium. Admission to the match is free.
The contest was originally slated for 7 p.m. Friday at McClimon Soccer Complex, but was moved to Camp Randall to prevent damage to the newly resurfaced field at the McClimon Soccer Complex. The match time has been moved forward in order to accommodate the football team's practice schedule.
UW started the 2007 preseason with a 4-0 victory against UW-Parkside on Aug. 19. That game was also played at Camp Randall because of similar weather-related concerns.
Wisconsin has six starters returning from last years team, which came away with a 9-8-2 overall record. Seven of last seasons top eight scorers are back while the midfield will serve as a sturdy core for the Badgers. Three of the five seniors are expected to play key roles as midfielders.
The Badgers will play their final exhibition game against UW-Oshkosh Friday at Camp Randall Stadium. Admission to the game is free.
