Nearly 200 children turned out to take part in the Buckys Buddies Soccer Clinic on Tuesday, taking advantage of the opportunity to hone their skills with instruction from the Wisconsin mens and womens soccer teams.
UW mens head coach staffid=350"> --> Jeff Rohrman and womens head coach staffid=884"> --> Paula Wilkins put their coaching staffs and student-athletes to work as instructors for the clinic, which drew participants ranging in age from 4 to 12 years old.
The youngsters spent more than an hour rotating between stations designed to highlight different skills necessary in the game and then enjoyed a pizza party once their training was complete. Participants also received a Wisconsin soccer T-shirt and had the opportunity to interact with Bucky Badger himself.
