MADISON, Wis. – BTN is scheduled to air two University of Wisconsin men’s soccer games this season, the network announced on Tuesday.

The first Wisconsin game to be featured is the Oct. 21 matchup that sees the Badgers traveling to Michigan State for a noon kickoff. The following weekend’s home matchup against defending Big Ten champs Northwestern on Oct. 28 will also be aired live starting at noon.

“The guys are going to be excited about the opportunity to play on the Big Ten Network again this year,” head coach John Trask commented. “To see the amount of exposure our players gain through BTN and the quality of the broadcasts continues to highlight how lucky we are in the Big Ten. Having two games, one being against Michigan State, in East Lansing, and the other being a home game against conference champions Northwestern, right here in Madison, is really exciting.”

In all, BTN is set to air at least 60 men’s and women’s soccer games this fall, including each round of the Big Ten soccer tournaments. BTN’s soccer coverage also includes the BTN Soccer Report, a weekly web-only show hosted by Kevin Egan. Fans can also follow the entire season on Twitter @BTNSoccerReport, or by using hashtag #BTNSoccer.

The Badgers begin their 2012 campaign with two exhibition matches against Louisville and Evansville on Aug. 17 and 19, respectively, before opening the regular season with a trip to Memphis on Aug. 24.
