Soccer camps in full swing

The summer camp season began last week with the Wisconsin men's soccer coaching staff and players conducing five days worth of day camps for boys ages 6-12, while the Boys Academy camp for boys ages 10-14 is going on now through Wednesday.

A gallery of photos from last week's day camp can be found below.

The Boys Elite Academy, held July 20-23, is the final camp offering of the summer and is designed to provide comprehensive instruction and training for more serious soccer players ages 14-18. Campers receive individualized instruction, as well as an introduction to speed and agility training and focus on the mental aspects of soccer.

The camp also provides a recruiting seminar aimed at equipping campers with knowledge of the college recruiting process and how to gain the attention of college coaches. A resident option also is offered with the camp.
