MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin men's soccer team has released its summer camp schedule, a slate highlighted by two sessions of the Boys' Elite Soccer Academy and the Badger Soccer Day Camp. To view more information and to register for the camps, visit WisconsinSoccerCamp.com.
The two camps target soccer players of all ages and skill levels. The summer kicks off with the Boy's Elite Soccer Academy, a rigorous overnight camp that is offered in two sessions. The first camp goes from June 30 - July 3, and a second session is offered from July 10 -13. Campers aged 11-18 at the time of the camp are eligible. The camp also includes an optional college recruiting seminar, where senior camp staff will give campers an inside look at the recruitment process. Both field players and goalkeepers are welcome.
The Badgers target younger campers with the Badger Soccer Day Camp, running from July 22-26. The camp is open to boys and girls. Campers will be coached by members of both the Wisconsin men's and women's soccer teams, and the camp will focus on small-sided games and individual technique.
For participants ages six to 12, UW offers the option of a half day (9 a.m. - noon) or full day session (9 a.m. - 3 p.m.). Kids between four and six years old can take part in the Little Stars section of the camp, running from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. each day.
The men's soccer camps will be led by head coach John Trask and assistant coach Keith Tiemeyer, and focus on developing well-rounded soccer players who excel in all facets of the game. Camp facilities include Camp Randall Stadium, the McClain Indoor Center and the UBay Practice Fields.
