MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin men's soccer team completed the collegiate portion of its spring season with a 3-0 shutout against UIC on Saturday, April 27, in Chicago. The Badgers went through all six games in the spring without conceding a goal.
Defenseman Paul Yonga scored the Badgers' first two goals against the Flames, the first coming in the first half off a deflection from a long shot.
With the 1-0 lead coming into the second half, Yonga tallied his second goal off a free kick taken by Tomislav Zadro. Before the full 90, Zadro would add his own goal to cap off the 3-0 Wisconsin win.
Wisconsin will host its annual alumni game on Sunday, May 5, at the U-Bay practice fields to officially bring the spring season to a close.
