Trask on Lauko: "Adam is a top-level player from upstate New York where he wore the captain's armband for Empire FC under two top coaches, Chris Apple and Paul Valenti. Adam's ability on the ball and understanding of the game will strengthen the back half of the team. He has the physical stature, awareness and fighting qualities you like to see in young defenders of his age. The coaching staff believes he will compete for major playing time immediately."
Why Wisconsin? "For the longest time I've wanted to attend a big university with big-time sports. From the moment I received my first email from the coaching staff I had a huge interest. As I learned more about UW I realized that this was an opportunity to attend a top university in both athletics and academics. The combination of the chance to play with and against some of the best players, and the opportunity to learn from some of the top coaches made my choice easy."
