MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin men’s rowing team is ready for the 2013 Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championships, which are being held on Lake Natoma in Gold River, Calif., May 31-June 2.

 2013 IRA National Championships
• Varsity Eight: Heat 4 - Friday, 10:45 a.m. (CT)
• Second Varsity Eight: Heat 2 - Friday, 11:15 a.m. (CT)
• Novice Eight: Heat 1 - Friday, 12:00 p.m. (CT)
• Varsity Four: Heat 4 - Friday, 1:30 p.m. (CT)
• Open Four: Heat 2 - Friday, 2:00 p.m. (CT)
• Lightweight Four: Heat 2 - Sunday, 10:40 a.m. (CT)

The Badgers have six boats entered in the regatta and begin competition on Friday morning at 10:45 a.m. (CT) in the fourth heat of the varsity eight. Four more Wisconsin boats, the second varsity eight, novice eight, varsity four and open four, will all race on Saturday, with the top winners advancing to semifinals and the rest racing in repechage later the same day.

The sixth Badger boat, the lightweight four, will start and conclude racing on Sunday.

Live video streams of the regatta will be available at d3cast.com/rowing/ira. Broadcasts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, will begin at 9:30 a.m. (CT), but Saturday is likely to start at 9 a.m. due to weather concerns.
