2013-2014 (Junior): Rowed eighth seat with the first varsity eight boat and fourth seat with the varsity four boat that both finished first in a meet against Minnesota and Milwaukee School of Engineering...filled the seventh seat in the third varsity eight boat that finished second behind another Wisconsin boat in the Head of the Iowa in the fall...competed with the varsity four boat in the International Rowing Association National Championships where the crew captured a sixth-place finish in the race in June.

2012-2013 (Sophomore): Competed in the eighth seat for the second varsity eight squads that took second at a meet against Boston and Massachusetts Institute of Technology and second in a race against Northeastern during the 2013 spring season...filled the varsity eight eighth seat in the boat's victory over Minnesota and Milwaukee School of Engineering...helped the third varsity eights accomplish a third-place overall finish at the 2013 Eastern Conference Sprints.

2011-2012 (Freshman): Rowed fourth seat for the second novice eight squad that defeated Michigan in a 2012 spring race...filled the sixth seat of the second novice eight boat and the first seat of the first novice four boat that both claimed victory over Minnesota and Milwaukee School of Engineering in a spring meet...helped propel the second novice eights to a first-place overall finish at the 2012 Eastern Conference Sprints, beating out all other teams in the Eastern Association of Rowing Colleges conference.

High School: Ran cross country, earned three varsity letters in the sport...earned two varsity letters during his time with the track team...competed in alpin skiing, where he made four state appearances...was awarded 1st Team All-Conference twice...the team was the 2011 Conference Champions.

Personal: Parents are Bob and Terrie...received COE Dean's Honor Role recognition...intended major is mechanical engineering.

Reasons for choosing UW-Madison: The great location, it is a world-class university, and I always wanted to be a Badger.
