Badger face Seawolves to close out home stand

MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin men’s hockey team (4-3-1, 2-3-1 WCHA) looks to finish off a solid three-week home stand when it takes on the Alaska Anchorage Seawolves (4-6-0, 2-4-0 WCHA) tonight and tomorrow at the Kohl Center. Both games begin at 7 p.m. The Badgers and Seawolves enter the weekend after posting home splits last weekend. UW won 4-2 over border-rival Minnesota last Friday, before falling 5-2 on Saturday. UAA fell 3-2 last Friday, then sent then-No. 2/3 Denver home with a 7-3 victory. The Badgers are 3-1-0 on this current home stand, with two victories against Hockey East-power New Hampshire and a 1-1-0 mark against Minnesota. Tickets remain available for this weekend’s series at the Kohl Center. If you can’t make it to the games, you can catch the action on television, the radio or online. Friday’s game is live on FSN Wisconsin. A tape-delayed broadcast on Wisconsin Channel airs at 10 p.m. and the next day at 6 p.m. Saturday’s game is live on WISC-TV in the Madison area, as well as Charter Extra 87 and Time Warner Sports.
