Student Season Tickets Information
MADISON, Wis. -- The puck drops on the Wisconsin men’s hockey season in just two weeks but UW students are invited to spend a night on the ice with the Wisconsin men's hockey team before that season starts. On Thursday, Oct. 3, students can test their skills with the Badger men’s hockey team on the Kohl Center ice for the chance to win free season tickets and be a part of the Crease Creatures during Wisconsin hockey’s inaugural season in the Big Ten.

Doors for the Men’s Hockey Student Shootout open at 7 p.m. at Gate A the Kohl Center and the net will be open until 8:30 p.m. Admission is free. The men's hockey team will be on the ice and current UW students can take their turn at an accuracy shooting contest on the ice. Students can bring their skates or closed-toe shoes and sticks and pucks will be provided. Free pizza will be available after students take their shot on the ice. Other activities include your chance to win Wisconsin Hockey gear and other door prizes including signed pucks and an autographed helmet.
The Athletics Ticket Office will also be set-up at the Kohl Center and all UW students who have purchased season tickets for 2013-14 men’s hockey can pick up their vouchers at the event. The ticket office will also have additional information and order forms for season tickets. If any UW student has purchased 2013-14 season tickets and wins a free season ticket at the event, the original cost will be reimbursed.
The Badgers open the season ranked No. 3 and enter as the preseason favorite to win the inaugural Big Ten title. Play opens Friday, Oct. 11, against Northern Michigan at the Kohl Center at 7 p.m.
