MADISON, Wis. -- With the first game of the Wisconsin men's hockey season a little more than two weeks away, UWBadgers.com takes a look at the newest members of the Badgers, by getting a feel for their likes, dislikes and personalities.
The series begins with forward Spencer Bell.
A native of Maple Grove, Minn., Bell played prep hockey for Maple Grove Senior High. While playing for the Crimson during the 2011-12 season, Bell tallied 19 goals, 26 assists and 45 points in 30 games, contributing to his team reaching the 2012 Minnesota Class AA State tournament. Bell recorded one assist in the Crimson’s 5-2 loss to Hill-Murray School in the quarterfinals. Bell also played lacrosse while in high school, collecting 14 goals, 12 assists and 26 points in 2011-12.
