MADISON, Wis. -- With the 2014-15 Wisconsin men's hockey season fast-approaching, UWBadgers.com probes beyond what fans will see on the ice to introduce the 11 newest members of the Badgers by shedding light on their likes, dislikes and personalities.

Next up in the series is forward Cullen Hurley.

Hurley took the ice for the Muskegon Lumberjacks of the United States Hockey League (USHL) for the past two years. As one of two team captains during the 2013-14 campaign, Hurley posted 12 points in 55 game. He recorded 12 goals and 25 points in 66 games for the Lumberjacks the season prior. Hurley skated in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) for the Aberdeen Wings in 2011-12, registering 26 points (six goals, 20 assists) in 45 games. In three years at Academy of Holy Angels, the 6-2 forward amassed 47 goals and 107 points in 80 contests. Hurley served as captain in his final season with the team. He also skated with current UW senior Joseph LaBate while at Holy Angels.
