MADISON, Wis. -- With the 2014-15 Wisconsin men's hockey season fast-approaching, UWBadgers.com probes beyond what fans will see on the ice to introduce the 11 newest members of the Badgers by shedding light on their likes, dislikes and personalities.

Next up in the series is forward Jason Ford.

Ford skated for the Dubuque Fighting Saints of the United States Hockey League (USHL) in 2013-14 where he recorded 10 goals and 22 points in 51 games. Before joining the USHL, Ford played in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) for the Janesville Jets. He led the team in scoring with 24 goals, while adding 21 assists in 54 games to earn the team's MVP award. As a senior at Waunakee High School in 2012, Ford led the state of Wisconsin in scoring, amassing an incredible 103 points (52 goals, 51 assists) in just 27 games.

The son of former Badger skater and assistant coach Pat Ford, Jason is also the brother of fellow freshman Keegan Ford.

Jason will wear No. 21 on his jersey, a well-worn number with great history at Wisconsin. Among those who have worn the number for the Badgers are Derek Stepan, David Tanabe, Rob Andringa, Tony Granato and Chris Chelios, among others.
