Men's hockey season tickets on sale Friday

MADISON, Wis. -- The Kohl Center is the most exciting venue in college hockey and Wisconsin men’s hockey season tickets are the best way to enjoy all the Badger hockey action in Madison. Secure a part of the action when season tickets for the 2014-15 season go on sale starting Friday, May 23.

The recently released men’s hockey non-conference schedule and opponents highlights 19 regular-season games at home, where the Badgers’ boasted at school-record 17 wins last season. Home opponents for Wisconsin include Big Ten series against Minnesota, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State and Penn State at the Kohl Center. The recently released schedule also includes non-conference match-ups against former WCHA-rival North Dakota, NCAA tournament-qualifier Ferris State, Boston University and Michigan Tech.

Wisconsin men’s hockey season tickets are a great value. By ordering a season ticket, fans will not only get to experience great college hockey all season long, but will also save $4 per ticket off the regular single-game price. Face-off series season tickets for the first night of each series are available for $180. Slap-shot series season tickets, for the second night of each series can be purchased for $200 and include the Badgers’ exhibition game against USA Hockey’s Under-18 team.

There are also benefits for purchasing early. If you become a 2014-15 Wisconsin men’s hockey season ticket holder, you can receive exclusive access during the inaugural Blake Geoffrion Hockey Classic charity game on June 27. A free post-game meet and greet with the players will be open exclusively to 2014-15 men’s hockey season ticket holders who also buy tickets for the Blake Geoffrion Hockey Classic. Space is very limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. Individual season ticket holder accounts will have a limit of four invitations to the meet and greet.

Season ticket holders who order their tickets for 2014-15 can also register to be a season ticket holder of the game during the upcoming season. Experience pre-game from the Wisconsin bench, get a behind the scenes tour of the Badgers’ locker room and a prize package courtesy of Wisconsin Athletics.
