DETROIT--Please join Brady Hartung as he chronicles the action from Saturday evening's national title game between the Wisconsin Badgers (28-10-4) and the Boston College Eagles (28-10-3) live from Ford Field in Detroit. The Badgers will begin the battle for the school's seventh national title at 6 p.m.
Both Wisconsin and Boston College are coming off of impressive performances in their respective semifinal games, with the teams notching 8-1 and 7-1 victories, respectively.
The Eagles hold an 11-9 advantage in games against the Badgers, and they have topped Wisconsin in the teams' last three matchups. However, in Wisconsin's 2006 national title run, the Badgers topped the Eagles, 2-1, in Milwaukee in the championship game.

In the final game for seven Badger seniors, Wisconsin hopes to be the only team in the nation to end the year with a win. With the victory would come the university's seventh national title and second in under Mike Eaves.
