After a week of working day and sometimes night on the construction of the outdoor rink in Camp Randall Stadium, the process is nearly complete. Though it took workers a week to build, fans can now watch a time-lapse video of the entire process in less than one minute.
The time-lapse video uses one segment every five minutes to illustrate the whole sequence. To view the week-long process in just 52 seconds, click here.
Head coaches Tracey DeKeyser and Mike Eaves broke the ice yesterday afternoon, as the two were the first to lace up skates and play on the new rink. Both teams are expected to hold their first practices outdoors on Wednesday.
