MADISON, Wis. -- With the boards up and the actual rink taking shape, Friday saw the beginning of the ice-making process on the field at Camp Randall Stadium. Day 5 of construction for the Culver's Camp Randall Hockey Classic focused on making sure the rink was ice-ready and then hosing in the actual water and letting it freeze.
IceRinkEvents project manager Patrick Seltsam made his daily appearance before the media to update the rink's progress. Watch his comments here.

The Culver's Camp Randall Hockey Classic on Saturday, Feb. 6, features double-header collegiate hockey action. The Wisconsin women's hockey team faces Bemidji State at 2 p.m. followed by the Wisconsin men's hockey team which faces Michigan at 5 p.m. Tickets are available including discounted group and youth hockey team ticket packages.
