Madison, Wis. - Hockey fans have a great opportunity to secure a part of Wisconsin hockey history. The University of Wisconsin announced today the auction of 53 authentic game-issued jerseys (28 men's and 25 women's) from the Badger teams appearance in the Culver's Camp Randall Hockey Classic Feb. 6. The jersey's will be offered in an online auction on UWBadgers.com.

The auction opens Friday, Jan. 29 at 11 a.m., and concludes on Monday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. CT. Each individual men's jersey includes a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Wisconsin men's hockey coach Mike Eaves, and each individual women's jersey includes a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Wisconsin women's interim hockey coach Tracey DeKeyser.

The University of Wisconsin will play host to the Culver's Camp Randall Hockey Classic on Feb. 6, 2010, at Camp Randall Stadium. The UW women's hockey team will take on the Bemidji State Beavers at 2 p.m. (CT) outdoors at the stadium as part of its weekend series. The UW men will meet the Michigan Wolverines at 5 p.m. (CT) in what will serve as the United States Hockey Hall of Fame Museum Game. Over 44,000 tickets have been sold for the event making it the fourth-highest attended outdoor hockey game in history.

Tickets are available online, by phone at 1.800.GOBADGERS and in person at the Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office.
