MADISON, Wis. – Looking for a warm place to ice skate this weekend? Always dreamed of skating at the Kohl Center like your favorite Badgers' hockey player, or want to meet one of them? Come to the Kohl Center this Sunday and bring your skates.

This Sunday, Jan. 27, from 4:30-6:30 p.m., is this year’s annual “Skate with the Badgers.” Fans can bring their skates and get autographs and photos with their favorite Badgers. Admission is free, but skates are required to get on the ice. Skate rentals are not available, so participants must bring their own skates.

Fans without skates can get autographs and photos from the stands.

During this year’s event, Wisconsin’s new locker room complex at LaBahn Arena will be open to the public.

Wisconsin (9-8-5, 6-5-5 WCHA), riding an eight game WCHA unbeaten streak, welcomes Alaska Anchorage to the Kohl Center for games on Friday and Saturday night. Friday’s game is 7 p.m., while Saturday’s puck drop is at 8 p.m.
