MADISON, Wis. -- The UW men's golf team continues its fall schedule Sept. 22-23 at the 54-hole D.A. Weibring Intercollegiate at the par 71 Illinois State Golf Course in Normal, Ill.

A year ago the Badgers finished ninth in this tournament with a 308-302-297--907. UW was led by Anthony Aicher who tied for 11th with an 8-over par 76-73-72--221.

Illinois won the tournament with a 2-over par 285-285-282---852. The Illini return to defend their title and will be joined in the tournament by Bradley University, Central Arkansas, Detroit Mercy, Illinois State, Loyola, Miami, Missouri State, Nebraska, Northern Illinois, Northern Iowa, Southern Illinois-Carbondale, Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, Western Illinois and Wisconsin.

Playing for the Badgers this week are Thomas O'Bryan, Chris Meyer, Anthony Aicher, Rob Jacobsen, and Brady Keegan. All five players played in the tournament a year ago.

The Badgers are coming off their first tournament of the season Sept. 15-16 where they finished ninth with a 43-over par 299-291-305--895 at the 54-hole Wolf Run Intercollegiate in Zionsville, Ind.
