MADISON, Wis. -- Several current Badger golfers are competing July 25-27 in the Northern Amateur at the 7,062-yard Sand Creek Country Club in Chesterton, Ind. The 54-hole tournament features a field of 96 players.
Junior John Gullberg completed the first round tied for fourth with an 2-under par 70. Senior Anthony Aicher was tied for 27th with a 72. Senior Chris Meyer was a shot back to tie for 34th along with sophomore Thomas O'Bryan, both with 73. Junior Zach Balit was 5-over with a 77 and is tied at 66th.
The second round continues with 18 holes today and final 18 will be on Friday.
