CLAYTON, Ind. -- Playing as individuals, two freshmen Badgers competed in the 36-hole DePauw Small College Classic Oct. 12-13 and both finished among the top 13 in the 11-team field. The Badgers did not field a full team for this event.
Ben Skogen was named to the all-tournament team after tying for sixth with a 36-hole career-best 7-over par 75-75-150. Tommay Schofield was 13th with a 10-over par 76-77--153. The tournament took place on two different courses: Twin Bridges Golf Club in Danville, Ind. on Oct. 13 and the Deer Creek Golf Club in Clayton, Ind. on Oct. 12.
Jared Wissinger of Wittenberg College was the only player under par for the tournament shooting a 4-under 68-71--139 to win the tournament. Wittenberg had the top three players in the 75-person field and won the tournament with a 14-over par 290-296--586.
