MADISON, Wis. -- Badger football fans heading to Indianapolis are invited to get ready for gameday at the Wisconsin Football Kickoff Party before the Badgers take the field in the 2012 Big Ten Football Championship Game.

The party begins at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday, Dec. 1. The event will be held in Exhibit Hall F of the Indiana Convention Center, which is located across the street from and immediately north of Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indianapolis.
Admission is free. Food and beverages, including beer and soda, will be available for purchase.

The UW Band, Spirit Squad and Bucky Badger will be on-hand to help get fans ready for the big game. Live entertainment will be provided throughout the event by Indiana’s own, 'The Bishops'. Plus, Badger legends Barry Alvarez and Ron Dayne are scheduled to attend as part of the day's festivities.

The Wisconsin Football Kickoff Party is presented by Wisconsin Athletics, the National W Club and the Wisconsin Alumni Association.

For fans arriving on Friday, be ready to start the weekend early. Fans are invited to head down to Buffalo Wild Wings in downtown Indianapolis at 7 East Washington Street. Beginning at 7 p.m. ET, join Madison’s Big 1070-AM’s Mike Heller as he broadcasts live and previews Saturday’s game. Fans will receive a free Wisconsin football T-shirt courtesy of adidas while supplies last.
