In case you missed it…
Head coach Bret Bielema addressed the media after practice Thursday night. You can see the archived video on InsideBadgerSports.com.

Badgers’ Bielema won’t hold back vs. Ohio State
If they made passing a polygraph a requirement for winning the national championship, 119 of the 120 top-level coaches would have no claim to the trophy.Only Wisconsin's Bret Bielema would be qualified to hold the crystal football. Want to know why? Read more in this article from Bruce Hooley for FOXSports.com.

Big Ten spotlight: Jay Valai
ESPN.com blogger Adam Rittenberg does the Big Ten spotlight every Friday, doing a Q&A with different players from around the league. Today, he chats with junior safety Jay Valai.

Ready to run
Things haven’t gone exactly as planned for Montee Ball. The highly-touted freshman running back from Wentzville, Mo., came to Wisconsin in the fall expecting to contribute right away. He had an impressive resume at Timberland High School, which plays the same style of football as Wisconsin, rushing for 8,222 yards in four years but a series of unfortunate events kept Ball from playing the first few games. Read all about the freshman RB with this story from UWBadgers.com.

UW ‘D’ determined to shut down Pryor
A year ago, under the lights of Camp Randall Stadium, Terrelle Pryor had his coming-out party on a national stage in a 20-17 victory over Wisconsin. That was last year, though, and the UW defense is preparing to stop Pryor, writes Jordan Schelling for the Badger Herald.

Brown aims to hold on
Zach Brown had a rough game against Minnesota but despite the adversity, he said he has not lost any confidence. Yet, when enough bad things start to pile up, it can start playing tricks with a player's head, but Brown remains the starting tailback going into Saturday’s game at Ohio State, writes Tom Mulhern for the Wisconsin State Journal.

Badgers to run into strength of Buckeyes
When Wisconsin takes the field Saturday against the host Buckeyes, it will be facing a defense ranked No. 1 in the Big Ten and No. 10 nationally against the run. The Buckeyes allow 2.7 yards per carry and 83.4 yards per game. They've allowed a combined 113 yards rushing in their last three games and 417 yards rushing in five games, writes Jeff Potrykus for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
