MADISON, Wis. -- As the Badgers prepare to face Nebraska on Saturday, fans can gear up for the inaugural "Unrivaled Game" with special-edition adidas apparel from Bucky's Locker Room.
Wisconsin and Nebraska will wear special adidas TECHFIT uniforms as they face off in their Big Ten Conference openers at 7 p.m. (CT) on ABC. The game is adidas' first Unrivaled Game, which will annually match up two of the brand's top programs.
The theme of this year's Unrivaled Game is "The Quick and the Red."
Unrivaled Game fan gear is avaialble from Bucky's Locker Room, including replica jerseys, hats, t-shirts, polo shirts and replica helmets.
The Badgers will wear a red helmet featuring a black facemask and a white "block W" in honor of Wisconsin's 1962 Big Ten championship team, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this fall.
That team wore the "block W" on its helmets and went on to play USC in the 1963 Rose Bowl, one of the most famous bowl games of all time.
The white uniform features red shoulders and showcases a bold red "W" on the chest and player numbers above the heart.
