Camp Randall Carry-in Policy Get Acrobat Reader

MADISON, Wis. -- Fans headed to Camp Randall Stadium for the Badgers’ home-opener against San Jose State this Saturday are encouraged to review the stadium policies, specifically the carry-in policy for all UW home games.

As a point of clarification this season, the only bags that will be permitted in the stadium are those that are 8.5” x 11” (or the size of a normal sheet of paper). The type of bag is no longer an issue merely the size. Any bag (purse, backpack, drawstring bag, etc.) bigger than 8.5” x 11” will not be allowed in the stadium. All bags that are allowed into the stadium must be searched first.

Also a reminder to fans traveling eastbound on University Avenue to the Camp Randall Stadium/UW Campus area there is road construction around Midvale Avenue with lane closures. Fans traveling University Avenue are encouraged to build in extra travel time and expect delays.

Below is a list of permitted and prohibited items. You can also check out the Camp Randall Stadium page for the complete policies list, parking information, seating chart and more.

Items permitted: bags 8.5” x 11” or smaller, binoculars, cameras, blankets, jackets, items related to a medical condition, chairbacks (not more than 16” wide), and diaper bags (with child).

Items prohibited (including, but not limited to): bags larger than 8.5” x 11”, food, beverages, containers, strollers, laser pointers, umbrellas, banners, flags, signs, noisemakers, weapons, inflatables, or any items deemed dangerous or inappropriate.

All items and spectators are subject to search. Storage facilities are not available for checking prohibited items. Items left at gates will be disposed of accordingly.

Express gates are available at Camp Randall Stadium for those who do not bring carry-in items. Halloween costumes may be worn at Camp Randall Stadium and the Kohl Center, but the costumes must be able to fit into a normal seating space and must be of an appropriate nature. No additional carry-ins will be allowed as part of a Halloween costume.
