MADISON, Wis. -- University of Wisconsin Athletics is proud to partner with the agriculture industry for the "Celebrate Agriculture" game on Saturday, Aug. 31, when the Badgers host the UMass Minutemen at Camp Randall Stadium.

Gameday festivities will celebrate Wisconsin agriculture and its deep connections to the University of Wisconsin. Agriculture will be everywhere throughout the game, from promotions, special graphics and fun agriculture facts. Commemorative gameday posters will be distributed (first-come, first-served).

"How can you not be awed by Wisconsin agriculture?" says Kate VandenBosch, dean of the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences at UW-Madison. "It has made huge gains in dairy, livestock, field crops, vegetables and fruit, and in protecting soil and water. It creates many thousands of jobs and billions of dollars in economic activity. We're proud to have done research and education to support that, and we're pleased to team up with UW Athletics to celebrate those accomplishments."

Presenting sponsors include Hartung Brothers, Incorporated; Winfield; Badgerland Financial; Case IH; Landmark Services Cooperative; Wisconsin Vegetable & Potato Growers Association; Wick Buildings; and Crop Production Services.

Kickoff time has been set for 11 a.m. and the game will be televised nationally on the Big Ten Network. Tickets for the game are available for purchase online or by calling the Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office at (608) 262-1440.
