Live music, food and beverages and fun available at Badgerville

Badgerville

Aug. 21, 2013

MADISON, Wis. -- Wisconsin football fans are invited to visit Badgerville, the official pregame tailgate of Wisconsin Athletics. Badgerville, presented by Johnsonville, is a free, fun-filled event available to Badgers fans for the first six home football games.

Located in the shadows of historic Camp Randall Stadium on Engineering Mall, the festivities begin 2 1/2 hours before kickoff.

Badgerville features a great entertainment lineup including live music, an appearance by members of the UW Band and Spirit Squad and autographs from current UW student-athletes as well as all-time Badgers greats. Plus, the youngest fans will enjoy several inflatable games. Fans will also be able to keep track of other college football action on a big-screen video board.

Fans looking to grab a bite to eat before the game will be in luck at Badgerville. A wide selection of food, beer and beverages is available. Famous Dave's will be on hand every week serving its legendary barbeque.

Panchero's Mexican Grill will offer burritos and other favorites. Plus, Noodles and Company will have a selection of pasta dishes available for purchase. And, of course, no football tailgate would be complete without hamburgers, chicken sandwiches and Wisconsin's own Johnsonville brats. For those looking to quench their thirst, Dr. Pepper products and BadgerMax sports drinks and bottled water will be available, in addition to a selection of beer choices.

The entertainment lineup changes weekly. Be sure to visit UWBadgers.com, follow Wisconsin Athletics on Twitter or download the official Badger Gameday app for the latest information on Badgerville.
