Attend Football 101 for Women and contribute to your knowledge AND a good
cause. Badger football coach Bret Bielema and staff are hosting a Football 101
event Thursday, Aug. 6 at Camp Randall Stadium in support of the Susan G. Komen
Foundation to cure breast cancer. Learn the basics of the game in a relaxed
setting and experience Badger Football first-hand.
Registration is just $65 ($35 tax deductible), and includes X's and O's with
Coach Bret Bielema and on-the-field coaching by the UW assistant coaches.
Registrants will receive heavy hors d' oeuvres and beverages (soda, wine and
beer), a Football 101 T-Shirt, a football equipment presentation and tours of
Camp Randall Stadium and the McClain Athletic Facility. In addition, all
participants will be eligible for prize drawings and receive a 2009 Badger
Senior Poster. There will even be an appearance by Bucky Badger.
The registration/tailgate begins at 4:30 August 6 at Camp Randall Stadium.
The event kicks off at 5:30 p.m. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable
shoes and game day attire. You must be 21 or older to attend. You may also
