CHICAGO -- The unofficial start to football season is officially underway, with the 2014 Big Ten Football Media Days taking place at the Hilton Chicago on Monday and Tuesday.
The Badgers are represented at the league's annual kickoff event by head coach Gary Andersen, junior RB Melvin Gordon, senior RT Rob Havenstein and senior NG Warren Herring.
Andersen's opening session with the assembled media willl be carried live on BTN and BTN2Go at 10 a.m. Monday, with ESPNU providing additional tape-delay coverage of the Big Ten head coaches' remarks from noon to 3 p.m.
The 43rd annual Big Ten Football Kickoff Luncheon will make its TV debut in a 6 p.m. broadcast Wednesday on BTN.
Wisconsin fans are invited to take part in a Twitter chat with Gordon, Havenstein and Herring from 1-1:30 p.m. Monday. The trio will take questions from fans and offer their replies via the Badgers' official Twitter account, @BadgerFootball.
