MADISON, Wis. -- The accolades for the Wisconsin football team continue to roll in as the 2010 season approaches. The newest honors come from Consensus Draft Services which has placed three Badgers on its 2010 Preseason FBS All-American teams.

Senior offensive lineman Gabe Carimi was named to the publication’s first team, while fellow senior offensive lineman John Moffitt and junior running back John Clay were each picked for the second team.

For Carimi, it’s another preseason All-American team to which he can attach his name. The Cottage Grove, Wis., native has already been recognized as a first-team All-American by Lindy’s and Athlon Sports and a second-team All-American by Phil Steele and The Kickoff.

The CDS selection is the second All-American honor for Clay. He was already named second-team All-American by Athlon Sports. In addition, Clay has been chosen first-team All-Big Ten by both Phil Steele and Athlon.

Other preseason honors for Moffitt include being named second-team All-American by Lindy’s and Athlon Sports and first-team All-Big Ten by Athlon and second-team All-Big Ten by Phil Steele. In addition, Moffitt is on the preseason watch list for the Rotary Lombardi Award.
