MADISON, Wis. -- When the 2012 Wisconsin Football Spring Game kicks off at 4 p.m. Saturday, it will serve as the close of spring practice for the Badgers.
It will also serve to cap an exciting day for UW fans, centered on Camp Randall Stadium.
The stadium serves not only as the venue for the spring game, but also as the finish line for the 31st annual Crazylegs Classic run/walk, the site of the always-popular Badger Sports Kids Fair and a place to score some discounted Badgers gear from Bucky’s Locker Room.

UW-Madison’s Surplus With A Purpose is the place to find unique items straight from UW Athletics at deeply discounted prices. The SWAP Shop in Verona hosts its Athletics Sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., featuring new apparel and equipment directly from UW Athletics.

The Crazylegs Classic is an 8-kilometer run and two-mile walk that begins on the Capitol Square and winds through downtown Madison before runners and walkers cross the finish line inside Camp Randall. A post-race festival follows, with entertainment from the UW Marching Band and the cover band Spoken Four.
Bucky’s Locker Room Sidewalk Sale

The annual Sidewalk Sale at Bucky’s Locker Room also begins at 1 p.m. at the store’s location inside Camp Randall. Apparel, headwear and novelties, including official UW gear from adidas, will be available at prices up to 75 percent off from 1-7 p.m., just inside Gate 1 of the stadium.
Badger Sports Kids Fair

The annual Badger Sports Kids Fair gives young fans a chance to get up close and personal with the Badgers, as a number of UW teams will be represented. The free event -- which takes place inside the McClain Center, adjacent to Camp Randall -- offers interactive games and displays, plus opportunities for autographs from the Badgers and photos with Bucky. The event is sponsored by First Choice Dental and American Family Children's Hospital.

Head coach Bret Bielema’s No. 1 offense and No. 1 defense will team up to take on the rest of the Badgers’ roster in the annual spring game, which kicks off at 4 p.m. Live coverage is available online at BTN2Go.com or InsideBadgerSports.com, but tickets are still available to take in the action in person.
Tickets are $5, with proceeds benefitting the UW Center for Nonprofits. In addition, two fans in attendance will be selected for a chance to win a new Chevy Sonic from Badgerland Chevy Dealers during a giveaway at halftime.
