Zach Nyborg is in his first season as the director of football operations at Wisconsin after spending the last three seasons at Utah State as the Aggies' recruiting coordinator and an offensive graduate assistant.
Among other duties, Nyborg is responsible for handling team logistics and day-to-day operations, including team schedules, travel, practice preparations and assisting the Badgers' coaching staff.
In addition to a role as assistant to the head coach, Nyborg spent the 2012 season as Utah State's recruiting coordinator and an offensive graduate assistant, working specifically with the quarterbacks.
In 2011, Nyborg worked with current Badgers defensive backs coach Bill Busch as a defensive administrative assistant, while serving as a recruiting administrative assistant.
Nyborg started at Utah State in 2010 as an offensive and special teams administrative assistant while also working as a recruiting administrative assistant.
Prior to his time at Utah State, Nyborg coached at Timpview High School in Utah. He served as the team's head freshman coach and offensive coordinator, in addition to working with the quarterbacks and receivers on the sophomore team.
Nyborg graduated from BYU with a bachelor's degree in management in 2011.
