Vince Guinta is in his first season as on-campus player development/recruiting coordinator at Wisconsin. Guinta joins the Badgers from Fresno State, where he most recently served as the coordinator of football operations in 2012.
With the Bulldogs, Guinta was responsible for coordinating team schedules, travel and logistics while also monitoring the program's operating budget, coordinating the walk-on program and supervising recruiting activities.
Prior to Fresno State, Guinta spent four years in a variety of operations and personnel roles at Nebraska from 2004-08. He began as the Huskers' football operations intern and was promoted to assistant director of football operations and director of football personnel prior after the 2005 season.
Guinta provided support for coaches' recruiting efforts while also assisting with the coordination of team travel and logistics.
Guinta stepped away from football after leaving Lincoln, working in a private business from 2008-12.
Before his time at Nebraska, Guinta was a defensive administrative assistant at Utah from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that position, he worked as the Utes' video coordinator from 1997-99.
Guinta holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Utah.
