Wisconsin senior left tackle Gabe Carimi was named the 2010 Outland Trophy winner at The Home Depot College Football Awards Show Thursday night in Orlando, Fla. Carimi follows in the footsteps of the Badger he replaced on the left side of the line, Joe Thomas, who won the award in 2006.

Wisconsin and its Rose Bowl opponent, TCU, have both scored 520 points this year, good enough to tie for fourth in the country in scoring offense (43.3 ppg.). They are both among the 13 teams in the country to have rushed for more than 240.0 yards per game and of those 13 teams, they are among the five that have also passed for at least 200.0 yards per game.
