STAR OF THE GAME
Jordan Taylor led all players with 17 points, adding six from the free throw line. The senior guard's point total was just one shy of his season high as he shot 5-9 from the field. Taylor hit three of his first four shots as the Badgers opened with a 12-2 lead in the opening 4:37. He finished strong as well, making his final two shots during his 27 minutes on the floor.

PLAY OF THE GAME
The play of the game comes courtesy of Jared Berggren with 1:44 remaining in the first half. With the Badgers leading by 12, Ryan Evans drove to the lane but missed the layup. Berggren came in, catching the miss and throwing it down for the dunk all in one motion. Berggren finished with 15 points.

TURNING POINT OF THE GAME
Mississippi Valley State took an early 2-0 lead before Wisconsin responded with a 17-0 scoring run over the next 5:08. With 14:01 left in the first half the Badgers built a lead the Delta Devils couldn't overcome. The 17-point run was courtesy of points from five different players, including six points from Jordan Taylor.
