Twenty-four Wisconsin mens basketball games, including all 16 Big Ten match-ups, will be televised live on various networks this season.
The two-time defending conference champions will receive national telecasts on Dec. 2 at Maryland (ESPN2), Dec. 20 vs. Marquette (ESPN), Jan. 6 vs. Indiana (ESPN), Jan. 10 vs. Michigan State (ESPN), Feb. 14 vs. Ohio State (ESPN) and Feb. 22 at Michigan (CBS). The last two regular season games at Michigan State and at Indiana are under consideration for ESPN and CBS telecasts, respectively, but those decisions will not be finalized until later in the season.
Wisconsin will appear on both ESPN Local and Regional packages as well as Fox Sports Net North throughout the year. WISC is the local carrier for the local and regional packages. The Badgers regular-season opener at Pennsylvania will be shown on CSTV (check local listings for availability), a new college sports television network. The tip-off for that game against the Quakers on Nov. 21 has been moved back to 5 p.m. CST.
Wisconsin Public Television will televise seven home games UW-Green Bay, UW-Milwaukee, Marquette, Michigan State, Illinois, Minnesota and Ohio State on a delay basis to its state-wide audience.
