MADISON, Wis. -- The Wisconsin men's basketball team will host its annual Red and White intra-squad scrimmage at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4, at the Kohl Center.
The free Red and White scrimmage, which is sponsored by the University Book Store, will be fans' first opportunity to see the 2012-13 Badgers in action. The scrimmage will be preceded by a 2 p.m. women's basketball exhibition contest against Concordia-St. Paul.
Doors will open at 1 p.m., and only fans with a ticket to the women's exhibition game will be admitted. Admission to the Red and White Scrimmage is free beginning at 4 p.m.

|• WHEN: Sunday, Nov. 4, at 5 p.m., following the WBB exhibition vs. Concordia-St. Paul

In addition to watching the on-court action, fans will have the opportunity to meet the Badgers players and coaches during a post-game team autograph session. The 2012-13 team poster, courtesy of UW Credit Union, will also be available free of charge.
Parking is available in UW Lots 91, 46 and 29 for a $5 fee.
The men's basketball team officially opens the season with an exhibition game against UW-Oshkosh on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at the Kohl Center. Tip off is slated for 7 p.m.
After coming a bucket short of a trip to the Elite Eight in 2011-12, the Badgers will look to make an appearance in the Sweet 16 for the third-consecutive year.
Wisconsin returns four of its five starters, including 2012 consensus All-Big Ten honorable mention honorees Ryan Evans and Jared Berggren, from a team that won the third-most games (26) in program history last season.
After appearing in all 98 career games, Mike Bruesewitz (and possibly his red afro) will also return to the floor, looking to leave his mark on an ultra-competitive Big Ten conference in 2012-13.
The Badgers also return 2012 All-Big Ten Defensive Team honoree Josh Gasser and sharp-shooting wingman Ben Brust, to a squad that poses multiple offensive threats in the backcourt, as well as experience and athleticism on the blocks.
Several questions loom as the Badgers begin their 2012-13 season: With the graduation of Jordan Taylor, who will take over point guard reins for UW? Where do highly-touted freshmen Sam Dekker and Zak Showalter fit into the rotation? With a wealth of returning talent, who will emerge as the leader and top-scorer in 2012-13?
These questions have yet to be answered but fans will have the opportunity to formulate their own opinions beginning at the Red and White scrimmage on Nov. 4.
Beginning October 11 at 8:30 a.m. (CT), fans may purchase four-game ticket packages affordably priced at $96. The four-game ticket packages feature games against top teams with each package including at least two Big Ten opponents.
Men's Basketball single-game tickets will go on sale initially to donors beginning October 23, based on annual giving level. For complete details and a schedule of the donor single-game sale, click here.
