All mens basketball student season tickets will be sold as half-season packages in 2009-10. The 19-game home schedule will be split into two separate half-season packages . The Red half season package has ten games and is $100.00. The White half season package has nine games and is $90.00.
A total of 2,100 tickets will be available to students in each half-season package. Students will have the flexibility to select the half-season package they wish to purchase, subject to availability. Students will be allowed to purchase only one ticket for one half-season package, while supplies last. Friends who want to go to games together should purchase the same half-season package.
It is anticipated that there will be heavy demand for student season tickets. As students log in to their online account to purchase tickets, it is likely that they will be directed to a virtual waiting room page. Once students enter the waiting room, as space allows, the software program will randomly select users to enter the flow to purchase tickets. The waiting room is designed to make the ticket purchasing experience as smooth as possible for high-demand ticket on-sales.
The allocation of tickets for students will closely resemble the process used for football, as well as for mens hockey. Tickets will be allocated using a first-come, first-served voucher exchange system. Student season ticket holders will receive vouchers for each game in their half-season package. These vouchers must be exchanged on game day for a game ticket which includes a specific section, row and seat number.
