MADISON, Wis. - ESPN announced the network and start time designations for the 14th annual ACC/Big Ten Challenge presented by DICK's Sporting Goods. The Badgers will host Virginia on the second night of the competition, with the game time set for 6 p.m. (CT) at the Kohl Center. ESPN2 will televise the contest.

Wisconsin is 6-7 all-time in the Challenge, though the Badgers do sport a 4-1 record at the Kohl Center. Last season, UW saw its three-game winning streak in the Challenge snapped following a 60-57 loss at No. 5 North Carolina.

The six victories for Wisconsin are tied for the most among Big Ten team along with Illinois, Michigan State, Northwestern and Ohio State. The Badgers' winning percentage (.462) is tied for third behind Ohio State (.545) and Michigan State (.500).

The Challenge annually features top college basketball programs playing for conference supremacy and the Commissioner's Cup. The Big Ten won its third consecutive Challenge in 2011, while the ACC had captured the first 10 titles. In the event of a 6-6 tie, the Commissioner's Cup will remain with the conference that won it the previous year.
