TORONTO, Ontario -- If the Badgers were seeking experience and balance on their exhibition trip to Canada, Sunday’s 84-61 win over Ryerson University had to look like a work of art.

Wisconsin had 15 players play at least 10 minutes, with 14 of them appearing in the scoring column. Sophomore Sam Dekker led the way with 18 points in 18 minutes. Zak Showalter chipped in 10 points, Duje Dukan added eight, while Evan Anderson and freshman Riley Dearring each scored seven.

 Fast Facts
• 15 Badgers played at least 10 minutes
• UW scored the first eight points of the game
• Wisconsin finished with 20 assists

The Badgers scored the first eight points of the game on a pair of Dekker 3-pointers and a bucket from Josh Gasser. Ryerson pulled within 11-7 moments later, but it was all Wisconsin from then on. UW’s lead grew to 27-10 by the end of the first quarter and 49-24 at the half.

UW shot 42.9 percent from the floor and held Ryerson to just 33.8 percent, while out-rebounding the Rams 40-30 and dishing 20 assists, including five by freshman Bronson Koenig.

Wisconsin will wrap up its five-game Canadian tour Monday afternoon with a rematch against A-Game Hoops. UW knocked off the men’s select team, 88-76, on Saturday. Sunday’s tip-off is scheduled for Noon (CT).
