As he enters his junior season, Vitto Brown figures to be a vital piece of the Badgers frontcourt in 2015-16. Owning the longest wingspan on the team (7-foot-3), the 6-foot-8 forward has added bulk to his frame and showed last season that he can handle the rigors of Big Ten play. The Bowling Green, Ohio native appeared in 34 games in 2014-15, averaging 6.3 minutes per game with a career-high 10 points and six rebounds vs. Nicholls State. Brown combines shot-blocking prowess with a soft jumpshot that extends to 3-point range. An accomplished singer who grew up performing with his family’s singing group, Shades of Brown, he performed the national anthem at the Kohl Center prior to UW’s 2014 win over Indiana and was a part of a quartet that sang the Star-Spangled Banner prior to UW’s 2015 Final Four win over Kentucky.Career
