Senior Jordan Taylor emerged as one of the nation's top all-around players in 2010-11 after earning second-team All-American honors from the AP. Taylor led the nation with a 3.83 assist-to-turnover in 2010-11, scored at a dominant pace and was named to the 2011 Big Ten All-Defensive Team. The Bloomington, Minn., native showed off his scoring prowess, ranking 4th in the Big Ten with 18.1 points per game, including 20.1 points per game in Big Ten play. He has also exhibited the ability to take over late in games, scoring 21 of his 27 points in the 2nd half of a comeback win over No. 1 Ohio State (2/12/11) and then poured in a career-high 39 points a few weeks later in a win at Indiana (3/3/11). During the summer of 2011, Taylor participated in Chris Paul's CP3 Elite Guard camp, Deron Williams' Nike Skills Academy in Chicago and was invited to the World University Games training camp. Taylor was forced to withdraw from trying out for Team USA, however, when he underwent minor ankle surgery in late July.
