A self-described late-bloomer, Ryan Evans has taken an underdog route to Wisconsin. Cut from his high school team as a high school sophomore, Evans worked his way to all-state honors as a senior and a late signing with the Badgers. In three years and two seasons at UW, Evans has worked his way into a vital piece of the rotation and appeared in all 67 games his career. Arguably the most athletic scorer on the team, the Arizona native originally earned playing time for his work on the defensive end, drawing opponent's top scorers like Duke's Kyle Singler and Ohio State's Evan Turner. In August of 2010, Evans averaged 9.2 points per game for a Global Sports Academy team that went 5-0 on a tour of Germany and Belgium.
Evans has appeared in all 83 games of his career with 16 starts.
