The last of the five freshmen to sign with the Badgers a year ago, Ryan Evans was somewhat of a late-bloomer. Cut from his high school team as a sophomore, Evans developed into a slasher with raw athleticism and scoring ability. He redshirted last season and will enter his freshman campaign in 2009-10.
